A Winery Built for Growth

Since our founding in 2002, Biopak LLC has grown from a small-production winery into a modern operation with significantly expanded capacity rising from the early years to today. Our growth has also meant expanding our brands and range over time, including the launch of Muratti alongside our established labels. Growing steadily while keeping quality consistent.

Based in the sun-exposed hills west of Rahovec, we’ve developed a portfolio that includes both international classics and regional favorites – such as Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, and Vranac, while investing in the processes that protect freshness, structure, and consistency from harvest to bottle.

Technology & Quality

Quality starts in the vineyard and continues through modern cellar work. Our winemaking includes controlled-temperature fermentation (for example, at 15°C for Chardonnay) to preserve fresh aromas, and selected wines are oak-aged (such as 12 months in barrels) to build structure and complexity.

Our continued development has also been supported through EU financial assistance for agribusiness investment—helping strengthen capacity for quality wine production and supporting local employment and grape growers.
